There were plenty of bubbles on display at our annual Arty Picnic in the Park on 6th June, attended by hundreds of people enjoying their family picnics.
The musical line-up was very varied - rhythm & blues, skiffle, choral, African drumming, classical and jazz - courtesty of the Los Dawons, Matt & Jerry, Halstow Community Choir, and the Digby Fairweather quartet featuring local jazz guitarist, Dominic Ashworth.
Kids enjoyed the art activities, giant bubbles and African drumming workshop while the grown-ups enjoyed plenty of our famous rum punch. Even the rain even held off all afternoon until the very end.
Our thanks to everyone who made the afternoon such a success, especially Greenwich Council for providing us with a £2,500 grant as part of the PARKSfest series of events happening throughout Greenwich's parks and open spaces throughout June/July (see website for more details).
