East Greenwich has a surprisingly rich and fascinating history which Richard Sylvester has cleverly brought to light in a 'history map' of the area.
The lottery-funded project gives a brief overview of the history of East Greenwich and the Peninsula over the last 2000 years, through themes such as buildings, industry, people, transport, leisure, ships, war, art, and wildlife.
Richard is also giving a guided story-walk through East Greenwich on Thursday 23rd (details here).
The maps are free. Click here for details of how you can get one.
